Dip Grill Tip: How to Grill the Perfect Steak (DIPSTIX® Style)
Ingredients:
- 1–2 steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or filet)
- 1–2 tbsp DIPSTIX® Grilled Steak Seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
- Butter (optional, for finishing)
Step 1: Prep the Steak
Take steaks out of the fridge 30–45 minutes before grilling to bring to room temp.
Pat dry with paper towels.
Lightly coat with olive oil (optional), then season generously with DIPSTIX® Grilled Steak Seasoning on all sides.

Step 2: Preheat the Grill
Heat grill to high (450–500°F).
Clean and oil grates to prevent sticking.
Step 3: Grill
Place steaks on the grill and cook:
- Rare: 2–3 minutes per side
- Medium Rare: 3–4 minutes per side
- Medium: 4–5 minutes per side
Flip once. Avoid pressing down (keeps juices in).
Step 4: Check Temp (Best Results)
- Rare: 120–125°F
- Medium Rare: 130–135°F
- Medium: 140–145°F
Step 5: Rest & Finish
Remove from grill and let rest 5–10 minutes.
Optional: top with a small pat of butter for extra richness.
